WELCOME!
As a Senior Mortgage Consultant, my drive is to educate my borrowers throughout the process with the goal of providing them with the tools to achieve wealth through property ownership. Whether it is holding the hand of a first time homebuyer through the purchase process, or working with a retiree to show how we can use the home equity they have built to help fulfill a happy retirement. I do not view the mortgage process as a transactional business. I believe it is about building relationships and guiding down the optimal path. I believe my prior experience in the financial markets enables me to take a broad look as to how real estate can be used to complement individuals overall financial strategy.
I grew up in Phoenix/Scottsdale, AZ and moved to California after High School. I agraduated from Santa Clara University with a BS in Finance and lettered in Rugby while I was there. I orginally stated int he mortgage industry in 1992 (with my CA real estate license) and was active for a couple years before moving to San Francisco, CA and getting into the equity options, municiple bonds and eventually equity analysis. I came back to the mortgage industry full time in 2016 (though held my license for many of the years outside of it). I spent just under 13 years in San Francisco and met my wife (we were there together for 11 of those 13) before we moved back to here home state of Colorado, which we have been since 2005. We have settled in Broomfield, CO and have 3 children (a boy and 2 girls) and enjoy all things outdoors, especially the multiple kids sports (primarily soccer).
